Lizz + Steve's Fall RiverBend Wedding in Lyons, Colorado
Lizz and Steve’s wedding at RiverBend in Lyons, Colorado was a joyful, colorful celebration that felt effortless, personal, and full of heart. Set along the river in downtown Lyons, their day brought together family, friends from out of town, and a shared love for celebrating life together.
Color played a huge role in their wedding day — from the blue tones worn by the wedding party to the vibrant wildflower-inspired florals. Guests were encouraged to wear color as well, creating a lively, playful atmosphere that perfectly reflected Lizz and Steve’s personalities. Thoughtful details were woven throughout the day, including heirloom jewelry, meaningful “something borrowed” pieces, and a bridal bouquet and boutonnieres featuring hops and fishing flies — a subtle nod to their love of craft beer. Steve works in the craft beer industry, and fittingly, their first date took place at a brewery, making these details especially meaningful.
Their ceremony was officiated by Steve’s brother, adding an extra layer of intention, and included unforgettable moments like beer boys during the processional and bubble guns during their recessional. First looks were filled with emotion, including private letter exchanges and a special first look with Lizz’s father. As the sun set over Lyons, they cut their cake during golden hour before ending the night with a joyful, bubble-filled exit and a mid-aisle kiss and cheer.
Lizz and Steve’s RiverBend wedding was equal parts heartfelt and fun — a true celebration of family, friendship, and the start of their next chapter together.
